Description
Organised for Dean Condon to deliver the 2020 Eaton Lecture at Queen's. Lecture tailored to engage with wider legal and financial services sector - " Crisis, Law and Politics: Reflections on Canadian Financial Regulation in a Global Context". It was embed this within ACSI's Biennial conference. Secured the Great Hall at the Stormont Parliament Buildings for the event and sponsorship from Allen & Overy, as well as the Law Society for Northern Ireland. Collaborated with the Chief Executives Club at Queen's, embedded the event within their calendar and in organising a dinner afterwards in the Long Gallery at the Parliament Buildings to be hosted by Professor Greer (QUB's Vice-Chancellor). Working in collaboration with the Law School, Professor Condon was to deliver a Masterclass on campus at Queen's the following day (May 15th, 2020).
At an advanced stage in planning in April 2020 the event had to be cancelled due to the outbreak of the pandemic.
