Description
I presented a paper on my research titled: "Meaning making in the archive: collaborative curation with the public as community engagement and research methodology"ARA’s 2023 conference returns to Belfast for the first time since 2007.
The 2023 theme is ‘Communities’ and over three days we will talk about communities of users, stakeholders, colleagues, and collaborators. Revisiting and rebuilding relationships and connections, addressing issues prevalent within and between us, whilst, all the time, enriching our professional community with learning and inspiration.
Our 2022 conference brought this professional community together in person for the first time since the pandemic, and, building on that experience, we want to use our 2023 gathering to serve and strengthen the record-keeping community.
Expect a versatile programme that we hope will cater to our wide variety of stakeholders, an action-packed Information Village and social networking functions so that we can carry on the conversations across three separate evenings.
