3 July 2015 'Hip-Hop em debate: a marginalizacao do jovem da favela por meio da mida' (Hip-Hop in debate: the marginalisation of young people in the media)

Description

Gave presentation on mainstream media representations of young people from favelas together with my co-researcher Dr Alice Baroni from PUC-Rio. The event was organised by political activists Zulu TR and Bruno Rafael Rafael who participated in my media seminar at PUC-Rio. They do voluntary work in the Youth centre, engaging young people to become hip-hop artists. The event was part of the Outreach programme PUC has with favela communities.
