Description
The International Biometric Conference (IBC) is a biennial, internationally recognised event held by the International Biometric Society. It brings together statisticians, researchers, and professionals from around the world to explore the development and application of statistical and mathematical theory and methods in the biosciences. The IBC serves as a prominent platform for advancing statistical techniques and their real-world applications in areas such as medicine, biology, and public health.
The conference program included a diverse range of activities, such as oral and poster presentations that highlight recent methodological advances and their application to specific challenges in the biosciences. This year, I delivered an oral presentation titled "Lighting the Way," which explored my research into MCMC techniques developed for Fluoresence Localisation Imaging with Photobleaching (FLImP).
