Description
The 5th International Conference on Robotics and Automation inIndustry (ICRAI) is being organized by the National Centre of Robotics & Automation (NCRA) and the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Peshawar, Pakistan. ICRAI is a leading international forum for researchers involved in the fields of Robotics and Automation. ICRAI conferences have been held in the past in 2012, 2016, 2019, and 2021. The 2023 edition of ICRAI will be held at the Department of Mechatronics Engineering, UET Peshawar, in the historic city of Peshawar, which dates to 539 BCE making it the oldest city in Pakistan. It sits between the historic Khyber Pass, which has witnessed hordes of Persians, Greeks, Scythians, Parthians, and Huns descend upon this land, and the mighty Indus River, which rises in Western Tibet and empties into the Arabian Sea near the port city of Karachi after flowing for around 3180 km. Peshawar or Purushapura, as it was called then, was an important city of the Gandhara civilization, which existed in what is now Northern-Western Pakistan and Afghanistan from the middle of the 1st millennium BCE to the beginning of the 2nd millennium CE. The Peshawar Museum provides a glimpse of the ancient Gandhara civilization to its visitors.ICRAI 2023 is technically co-sponsored by IEEE. Accepted papers that meet the scope and quality requirements of IEEE Xplore will be submitted there for inclusion. Moreover, accepted papers will also be submitted to SCOPUS for indexing.
ICRAI 2023 will be held in a physical gathering subject to COVID-19 restrictions.
