Description

In June 2006, the Belfast Branch of the Young Archaeologists' Club (Belfast YAC) was launched by Queen's University Belfast staff members. I was one of the founding leaders and continue to run the club as Branch Leader. Belfast YAC is for 6-16 year olds and meets once a month. Sessions cover a wide range of archaeological topics. We regularly have 30 attendees and membership ranges from 30-60 young people. A number of the club's members have gone on to study Archaeology at Queen's.
