Description

30 participants took part in a workshop entitled "Methodological considerations in measuring physical activity and sedentary behaviour in older adults: Implications for accelerometry, GPS and GIS data". The workshop was facilitated by members of the HULAP study team who have specific expertise in GIS, accelerometry and GPS data techniques. The workshop focused on the particular methodological issues that must be considered when collecting and analysing these data for older adult populations. The workshop stimulated indepth discussion regarding methodological innovations required in the field.
