Description

Following a positive internal evaluation conducted by the SEHSCT, the ACE pilot initiative subsequently rolled out across child and family social work in NI. Dr Suzanne Mooney was involved in the roll-out, delivering training on “trauma informed care and family life stories”, as part of a wider ACE training package, to more than 800 staff trained across NI HSC Trusts. Specific guidance on using the family life stories workbook, based on the experiences of practitioners who had utilised it in the pilot study, was also developed to accompany this: 6.
