Our research team from the Centre for Evidence and Social Innovation (CESI) visited An-Najah University, West Bank, Palestine to explore potential research collaboration and to sign a memorandum of understanding. The research is part of the larger LINKS programme of work funded by the NIHR Global Health Research Group on Early Childhood Development for Peacebuilding, Queen’s University Belfast.The core management team comprises Paul Connolly, Laura Dunne and Sarah Miller. Members of the LINKS team – along with colleagues from Early Years: the Organisation for Young Children, spent a week in Palestine, working with academic and ministerial partners to explore how early childhood development might be researched and enhanced in Palestine.
