Assistant Academic Lead for Continued Professional Development & Postgraduate Courses

In January 2018 I applied for this leadership post within our School and was appointed as Assistant Academic Lead for Continued Professional Development  & Postgraduate Courses (CPDPG). In this role I support the Academic Lead for CPDPG in the wide and varied remit of that post, including representation on the School Education Committee (SEC) and Chairing Board of Examiners meetings for CPAD, contribute to and review of CAPE submissions.  As a member of the SEC,I have been influential in guiding the School's use of MCQs for summative exams at all levels.  I regularly input to discussions on this topic and give expert opinion on question style etc. when this form of assessment is proposed on a module proforma that is being reviewed by SEC.  This demonstrates the impact and strategic influence of my external scholarship and citizenship activities have on important academic decisions within the School.
