Significant leadership and management role demonstrating commitment to institutional SWAN and D&I priorities of the School, Faculty and University. Together with Dr Elodie Fabre and Professor Diane Urquhart, responsible for monitoring SWAN budget; maintaining and advancing SWAN action plans; encouraging good practice and fostering an environment respectful of equality and diversity; representing the School at the Faculty and University SWAN champions network; advancing initiatives and action plans at School level to promote gender equality; advancing SWAN action points relating to History; liaising with colleagues in History; disseminating information and advice; promoting SWAN activities and encouraging staff and student engagement; contributing to the development and implementation of University vision; contributing to the development of policy at Faculty and University level through participation in the Faculty and University SWAN champions network.

In response to the GCS and questions pertaining to personal development, progression, and the requirement to provision extra support for probationers and early career researchers/academics, leading initiative to organise a grant application workshop for this cohort in conjunction with Research and Enterprise.
