Description

Representing the School of Nursing and Midwifery, the team showcased the range of Nursing and Midwifery programmes available. They also carried out blood pressure checks and CPR demonstrations for attendees.

The Rural Health Committee highlighted its work in rural health and demonstrated effective handwashing techniques, with a particular focus on raising awareness of zoonotic diseases that can be transmitted from animals to humans.

The Committee was proud to support and collaborate in the launch of the NI Agri Rural Health Forum health initiative this year at Balmoral show, which is focused on increasing awareness of sepsis and promoting early recognition of its signs and symptoms.
