This workshop will showcase how staff and students in the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering have worked in partnership to enhance student engagement and attainment through a peer-assisted learning scheme. The development of the scheme over its initial three years of operation will be described with reference to its format, student participation, and mentor selection and training. Those attending the workshop will have opportunity to consider how a similar scheme may be developed in their School and what the potential barriers and benefits would be.
