Invited presentation delivered to students from Belmont University, Nashville, during their Summer School visit to Queen’s University Belfast. The session, Be the Person You Needed to See: Student Leadership, Visibility and Widening Possibility, focused on student leadership, role modelling and community impact. Using two Ambition to Success projects as examples, the presentation explored how nursing students can lead through health promotion, outreach, widening participation and public engagement. The session encouraged students to consider leadership as a values-led practice that begins before formal titles and can create visibility, confidence and possibility for others.
