This was a workshop at the University of Leeds. The Scientific organisers were Professor Sir Alex Markam, Professor Munir Pirohamed and Professor Valerie Spiers. The meeting focused on four areas: Uk Biobank Standards; Patient data and links to biobanks; ethics and use of biobank samples by non academic organisations and patient related issues including consent, patient and public involvement.
