BREATH Showcase at the European Parliament

European Parliament: Showcase of €8.9M BREATH Project funded by INTERREG Va, managed by the Special European Union Programmes Body.

EU Parliament Showcase event, hosted by Mairead McGuiness (MEP and Vice-President of the EU Parliament) and our local MEPs at the EU Parliament on 21st November 2017. Multiple opportunities were provided for discussions with the EU Commissioner for Regional Policy, Corina Crețu, the Irish Permanent Representative to the EU Ambassador Declan Kelleher and the UK Deputy Permanent Representative to the EU, Katrina Williams as well as a number of MEPs from both the UK and Ireland which served to highlight COPD as a disease of global significance and regional burden.
