- From the 70+ proposals submitted to this conference, I organised panels, workshops and collaborative sessions- Secured a keynote speaker for the event and chaired her talk
- Single-handedly secured funding from two different funding boards for conference costs (catering, keynote expenses) and for the various awards offered to participants (see below)
- Organised and judged an international poster competition as part of the conference, awarding the winning poster a prize of £100
- Awarded travel grants to 5 conference participants to attend the conference
