Presentation by Dr Carole Tosone on her specialist work on Trauma in the aftermath of 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina
I organised and managed the process of securing the position of Visiting Research Professor for Professor Carole Tosone, New York University, who visited the School of Sociology, Social Policy and Social Work in May 2015 to present a seminar on her internationally recognised work on trauma in the aftermath of 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. Professor Tosone also engaged in planned research with myself looking at the impact of intergenerational trauma in post conflict societies, using Northern Ireland as a case study example.
