Description
Walking City Bazaar exhibition and networking event
The Walking City Bazaar was an exhibition and networking event in April 2013 by a non-profit arts organisation Motiroti, in partnership with Cass Business School. Motiroti produces cultural projects with artists and stakeholders thus providing voice, visibility, and connectivity to migration-related issues with the use of art. The event showcased different approaches to walking tours and joureys - both physical and metaphotical. The event supported an informal community of interest in urban walking across disciplinary boundaries. Student engagement in bazaar both as artists and as curators was a central feature of the event.
My involvement in this project as documenting the event is related to an interest in exploring the links between visual arts and qualitative narrative-based methodology.
