First UN document providing guidance on how states should ensure sufficient, equitable and effective resource mobilisation, budget allocation and spending to realise children’s rights - the General Comment No. 19 on public budgeting for realisation of children's rights has its Child Friendly version. Child-friendly version is developed with the aim to support children to influence governments to improve public investment in children.
