Description

Presentation in two parts – “Understanding Harms & Costs of Alcohol Use” and “Translating Research on Alcohol-Related Harms into Effective Policy”. A background paper entitled “Minimising Harm from Alcohol Misuse: Challenges to the Development of Effective Policy” was also circulated. This was used as the basis of a discussion with representatives of the Departments of Health, Education and Social Development, the Public Health Agency, regional Health Trusts, the Youth Justice Agency and the NI Drinks Industry Group.
