One of two who formally met the PPE Commission appointed by the UK Architects Registration Board (established through legislation) and led by Sir Chris Husbands. The one hour meeting explored the particular circumstances fro N Ireland and good practice relating to architecture students and graduates gaining professional experience in industry and public practice. The other N Ireland representative was Jenny Harper RIBA, chair of the RSUA Education & Careers Committee.

Professor Sir Chris Husbands appointed to Chair ARB’s independent Professional Practical Experience Commission. "Through its work, the Commission will investigate the challenges faced by architecture students in the UK in seeking opportunities for suitable PPE, and make recommendations to ARB to help improve the quality of training experience for architects. The Commission forms part of ARB’s efforts to reform how architects are trained and educated, in order to modernise the competencies required of architects to face emerging and future challenges".
