I sit on the Scientific Advisory Group for the Colin Early Intervention Community (CEIC). The CEIC comprises local community leaders, voluntary and statutory organisations working together to improve a range of health, social and educational outcomes for children in one of the most deprived areas in Northern Ireland. The inter agency approach of the CEIC is evidence based and outcomes focused. I sit on their Scientific Advisory Group which has an international membership and my role within this is to provide an educational and research perspective to the group and to support their choice of intervention as well as advise on their approach to monitoring and evaluation.
