Description

"Arcus" is a space telescope mission proposed to NASA, PI Randall Smith from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. I am a Collaborator (International Co-I) and the Exoplanet Science Lead for this mission. The mission has received funding of 2 million USD for a concept study in 2017, which is being spent at Harvard for instrument development. We will compete with two other missions in 2019 for the full funding of 250 million USD, and launch of the mission in the mid-2020s.
