Concrete Canoe Challenge - Design, Manufacture and Race

Concrete Canoe Challenge - Designed around 3rd year project students to challenge and stimulate thinking outside the box. Four canoes were manufactured using concrete with challenging cement systems and reinforcement options. One canoe made from cement less concrete and density of concrete used were from 1450 to 2100kg/m3 as compared to traditional concrete of 2400kg/m3.
