Description
In this workshop, delegates will engage with a content-rich, CLIL-informed approach to French language teaching at KS3 through the lens of authentic texts and video resources used in a CLIL intervention as part of the presenter's PhD research: 'Developing CLIL-informed policy and practice in language education'.
The presenter will share preliminary data from her study with KS3 learners from both academically selective and non-selective school settings and explore how literacy strategies can enable learners from different backgrounds and prior attainment levels to access, use and evaluate information found in authentic texts, websites and videos in French.
