Description
I gave a paper outlining the strategic direction of research proposal that I am collaborating on with colleagues from Drama and Theatre Studies (Arts, English and Languages). We are currently piloting the project with ESRC IAA and FRIF funding. The project will use Ireland's Housewife of the Year competition as a way in to understanding the status of women in Ireland in 20th century. A relevant question given Ireland's 2024 referenda on gender equality and the status of women and the family in the Constitution.Period | 28 Feb 2024 |
