Description

Following the publication of my book Credit and community: working class debt in the UK (Oxford University Press, 2009) I received a number of invites to international conferences: this was one of them. The conference was hosted by the German Historical Institute, Washington D.C.. My paper was 'Sub-prime credit in the UK since 1880'. All my expenses were covered by the organisers.
