Description
Invited David to give a public talk considering the subject identity of the cultural non-participant. Drawing on primary data generated in the form of policy texts, speeches, and 42 in-depth qualitative interviews, David offered a close analysis of the discursive logics that problematise the agency of those who show little interest in state-supported cultural activities. He also took part in a research critique session with me, Abigail Gilmore and Leila Jancovich and representatives from Voluntary Arts Ireland, Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown County Council, and Mid and East Antrim Council on the project I'm conducting with those local authorities.Period | 23 Oct 2017 |
