E-Health and Informatics Sub Group of the Central Nursing and Midwifery Advisory Committee

One of the responsibilities of this group is to develop an action plan for nursing and midwifery which aligns strategically and supports the achievement of the E-Health and Care Strategy and implementation plan which are currently in the final stages of completion.The priority areas are: • Learning and development to prepare the workforce to engage with e-Health and informatics. This area includes undergraduate programmes for nursing and midwifery. • Digital record keeping • Mobile working • Data Management and service improvement
