Description

Glenn Hussey is currently Dean of Education (Faculty of Natural Sciences), Keele University. He started his professional career as a HCPC-registered Biomedical Scientist before moving into academia as Programme Director of Biomedical Science (BSc/MSc).

Glenn has a specialist interest in inclusive practice. As Director of Education for Life Sciences, he developed and led significant curriculum reform in line with Decolonising the Curriculum and Access and Participation Planning. He is currently working with Disability Services to change culture at an institutional level by mainstreaming reasonable adjustments where appropriate and developing an Inclusive Education Framework.

The workshop aims to explore and challenge barriers to inclusive education in Biomedical Science Programmes and those allied to medicine
