Activity: Talk or presentation typesInvited or keynote talk at national or international conference

Description

'Elizabeth Bishop's Prose Poetics' – an overview of Bishop’s autobiographical short story 'In the Village', examining through close reading how she consciously overlapped story and verse to produce, as she called it, “something further”, in relation to her childhood. I was invited to give the talk as part of symposium 'Apparently Personal Poetry: Elizabeth Bishop and Biography' organised by Sally Bayley and Jonathan Ellis.
