EPSRC identified RF and Microwave Devices as an area for growth over the current delivery plan and highlighted opportunities for researchers in the area to work with materials scientists. The ICT Theme would like to engage with the research communities across RF and Microwave Devices and materials science to identify the technical challenges which could be addressed by novel materials or the co-design of new materials to meet the needs of RF and microwave technologies. Our aim is build up a picture of the research challenges relating to RF and MW technologies where a new material could produce a step change in performance or ability and identify materials that could enable these changes.
