2016 - 2017: Training in Queen's Excellence programme, delivered by Louisa Hardman, an associate of the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education, and the Staff Training and Development Unit (STDU) in Riddel Hall, Belfast.
'This high level development programme was designed to stretch managers to act into the responsibilities of their role and support them in developing positive leadership behaviours to meet the challenges of managing and leading in a University context.' Training included 360 degree feedback questionnaire, an MBTI questionnaire, a personal development plan, 4 action learning sessions and 4 modules on management strategies.
The final outcome (project) was delivered by a selected team and looked at improving academic recruitment strategies, a project sponsored by Prof Chris Elliott.
