I served as the External Examiner for Dr Elizabeth Creed’s doctoral research, undertaken within the Department of Sociology and Criminology, University College Cork.

Entitled ‘Community Owned Renewable Energy (CORE) in Ireland’s Energy Transition: Locating Homo curans in collective action’, Dr Creed’s viva was held on 14 August 2025 and she passed with minor corrections.
