External Examiner for Health and Life Science components of the BN (Hons) Degree programme at Nursing & Health Care School, University of Glasgow. The modules I examine are:Nursing and Integrated Biomedical & Life Science1, Health Studies & Nursing 1, Integrated Biomedical and Life Science 2, Nursing & Health Studies 2, Human Disease and Pathology 3. I was appointed to this position following a nationwide advertisement through JISC and a competitive selection process. In the appointment letter the School’s Administrator indicated “it was a unanimous decision to offer the role to you.” C.R. 25th Sep 2012 (by email). This is evidence and national recognition of the quality and breadth of my professional achievements to date in higher education teaching. The School of Nursing & Health Care is rated 2nd in the UK for Nursing by Guardian University Guide 2013 and The Times Higher Good University Guide 2013. University of Glasgow is a Russell Group university.
