Description
AI technologies and Machines Learning (ML) in particular are becoming/will become ubiquitous in our society in applications ranging from simple entertainment to critical topics such as cybersecurity, defence, autonomous driving, financial fraud detection or protecting the food chain and critical infrastructures. Regardless of their accuracy, which will surely improve over time, other factors equally as important should be considering when adding ML in our products and services. In this talk we will discuss and present some of the implication to be considered in ML such as fulfilling regulation from governmental bodies, ensuring that the decisions taken by those technologies are fair and unbiased and protecting the privacy of the general user.
