This lunchtime seminar organised by the NI Social Care Council covered the Family Group Conference (FGC) model, the values and principles underpinning FGC as a restorative and relational practice, the role of the independent coordinator, FGC services available and how they can improve decision-making outcomes for children and their families across child protection, family support and early intervention, and examples of practice and feedback from families and professionals.
