Description

I am the sole UK selected Member for the IFAA. IFAA is the professional domicile of the Associations of ALL Anatomy around the globe. It is the Umbrella Scientific Organization of all National and Multinational Anatomy Associations. I co-led the setting of the recommendations for body donations and the Guidelines on Good Practice for Image Acquistion in order to address the lack of its global best practices (2022). These IFAA recommendations were shared with all Associations of Anatomists around the globe to disseminate best practice. Furthermore, many Universities have adopted the IFAA Policy on Legacy Anatomical Collections that provided clear expectations on the ethics of holding, using, and caring for legacy anatomical collections in the Anatomical Institutions - (Impact on the global Anatomical Community). I was also a Member of IFAA Task Group that selected the best international Anatomists to be Members of the Federative International Programme on Anatomical Research Committee.
