Description
A paper delivered on the role of zooarchaeology and how it can inform on the past economies using medieval Carrickfergus as a case study. Various scientific analysis methods were also discussed such as the use of various isotopic studies and zooarchaeology by mass spectrometry which will hopefully aid in answering questions regarding animal husbandry in the medieval period in Ireland.
