Female labour participation and firm adaptability: cross-country evidence using data from Covid-19 pandemic

Description

This research examines the influence of female labour participation (FLP) on the adaptability of firms in the presence of an external shock. Using dataset from 36 countries, our results show that Higher FLP led to higher adaptability in firms during Covid-19 pandemic; and the positive impact is more pronounced in countries with higher level of Masculinity.
