Description
Special event organized by QUB in partnership with Invest Northern Ireland for Maths Teachers. The event, ‘Focus on Maths: from school to work’, was aimed at raising the profile of Maths, in particular encouraging the take-up of Maths at A-level. The event brought together Maths teachers, university staff and employers to understand the importance of Maths as a foundation for a wide range of degree subjects and a wide range of employment and to explore how they might better work together.
