Description

This course has been designed to help students express themselves, articulate their experiences and political and feminist ideals and promote the use of poetry, prose, and artwork to help maintain personal wellness and spiritual health.  These sessions will be based on some of the exercises included in The Artist's Way by Julia Cameron.  These exercises aim to explore how poetry and creativity are important actualisation and intellectual tools and can help people in their personal and professional lives. Creative expression and art have been used by many radical feminists, revolutionaries and cultural visionaries to anticipate new worlds and present alternative, utopian futures, and these sessions will encourage all students to connect with and nurture their creative inner worlds.
