Description

Appointed as Chair of the of Basic Sciences Funding Panel. This involves coordinating the review of ~250-300 outline applications conjunction with the InCa programme office, directly reviewing 20-30 outline applications, collating all outline application reviews and chairing the outline application triage meeting in February. Following this myself and the InCa programme office coordinate the review of all full applications after which I chair the final funding panel meeting in Paris in May/June in Paris. This funding council has an annual budget of ~ 100M EURO of which the Basic Sciences Funding Panel has an annual budget of ~ 33M EUR
