Innovation in engineering, combined with leadership, are essential components to support the manufacturing ambitions of the UK and China. This Future Engineers’ Leadership and Innovation Academy helped develop participants as creative, technical, transnational communicators, and provided them with leadership skills to support themselves as the next generation of engineers, innovators and entrepreneurs.
