The conference marks the launch of a new research dataset, the Business Data for Research (BDR), and will include presentations from NISRA, Department for the Economy (DfE) and eight accredited research teams who have engaged as early users of the data. These presentations explore a number of policy relevant themes such as the key factors associated with disability pay gaps, the drivers to productivity, and the impact of trade and technology on growth in Northern Ireland. The presentations demonstrate the range of research and policy areas that the BDR has the potential to inform. The conference also includes a workshop style discussion on research and policy needs and future data requirements.
