Organiser and host of an international seminar in partnership with SOS CV on ‘Building Positive Futures for Care Leavers’ involving 21 key stakeholders in the field of care leaver policy and practice including: University of Nairobi, Maasai Mara University, Moi University, the Kenya Society of Care Leavers, World Vision and the Africa Union. The event was opened by Maria Mapani, Chairperson of the African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child and co-chaired with Professor Gidraph Wairire from the University of Nairobi and President of the Association of Schools of Social Work in Africa.
