Description

The aim of this symposium was to transfer the experience and the conclusions of the genSET consensus process to the science community in Ireland, in order to: • promote practical ways in which the recommendations for action on gender can be implemented within its science institutions • identify how the gender mainstreaming actions interact with local science policies and societal expectations and norms • explore new research directions that can benefit from incorporating in the research process analysis of gender/sex factors and their impact.
