Grace Hopper Celebration 2025

Description

The Grace Hopper Celebration 2025 took place in Chicago and is one of the largest international conferences focused on computing, technology and innovation, with a particular emphasis on broadening participation in the sector. The event brings together students, academics, researchers, industry representatives and employers from across the world for multiple days of talks, panels, skills sessions and exhibitions.

We were invited by the UK Department for Business & Trade to participate in the conference as part of a coordinated UK presence. Over three days, we attended the event with an exhibition stand alongside other UK organisations, contributing as an academic partner. Our involvement focused on representing the university within the conference environment, engaging with attendees, and sharing information about study opportunities across undergraduate, taught postgraduate and PhD programmes. We also took part in broader conference activity, including networking and attending sessions.
