Activity: Talk or presentation typesOral presentation

Description

Under a polished rock ‘n roll guise, the animated oeuvre developed to promote Queens of the Stone Age’s homonymous album comprises a 5-movement leitmotif established on a particular set of references: from the eschatological citations pertaining to the Apocalypse to its particular cinematic framing and visual codes, among other aspects. This presentation aimed at both visual and aural structures that compose …Like Clockwork’s narrative. Moreover, attention shall be given to each sequence – I Appear Missing, Kalopsia, Keep Your Eyes Peeled, If I Had a Tail and My God is the Sun –, as well as the whole audio -visual experience, whose fivefold stages ultimately provide an exercise on visual literacy.
